"Dennis Maisenbacher is a Principal Engineer within Western Digital Corporation Emerging System Architectures group. He graduated from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics where his thesis has the title 'Time-efficient Garbage Collection on Host Managed Solid State Drives'. He is an active participant in zoned storage related open source projects like ZenFS, SPDK, Kubernetes and Mayastor. Recently his focus has been on providing cloud storage applications access to NVMe zoned namespaces."
