Donpaul Stephens

Donpaul architected AirMettle’s approach for parallel in-place analytics and has led the company’s development from inception to date. He was the principal investigator on AirMettle's NSF STTR and NOAA SBIR awards. He is a serial entrepreneur, likely best known as the founder of Violin Memory where he developed the original concept; hired and led the core team; raised venture capital from strategic, institutional, and individual investors; established key strategic partnerships in both supply chain and go-to-market partners; and developed the company's largest accounts. He is the author of several US Patents, and has a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from New York University.
